Our company operates five taxis: two passenger cars and three minivans. The passenger cars can accommodate up to 4 passengers, while the minivans can carry 8 passengers. Our minivans are also equipped to handle wheelchair and stretcher transport.

For customers with hearing or speech impairments, text message service is available at number 185 85 (the text message service is free of charge).
Please have your personal identification number and address details ready when ordering a Kela taxi.
You can order a Kela taxi when traveling to a healthcare or rehabilitation appointment and you are entitled to Kela reimbursement for the taxi trip due to your health condition or poor traffic conditions.
In this case, you must have an SV67 certificate issued by a healthcare provider if you need a taxi due to your health condition.
If you need a Kela taxi due to traffic conditions, you will need to explain this during the booking call. Read more about the reimbursement criteria for trips.

  • You can only receive reimbursement for a trip booked through the Kela taxi number, and you will pay a maximum co-payment of €25 per trip.
  • Please order the taxi no later than 2 PM the day before your trip.
  • You can also order a taxi from this number if you need one urgently.
  • You can book all your known outgoing and return trips for the next two weeks in one call.
  • For return trips, please order at least 1 hour before the departure time if the return trip timing is known.
  • Order calls are recorded to improve service quality. If necessary, Kela may also verify the booking details later. The information you provide during the call will only be used for organizing the trip and processing the travel reimbursement at Kela. Kela is the data controller as defined by the Data Protection Act.

  • The time you need to arrive at the healthcare facility

  • If there are any changes to your booked taxi trip, please inform the booking number immediately.
  • Changes must be reported at least 2 hours before the agreed departure time.
  • If you wish, you can receive a text message notification when the car has accepted your booking.

Show the driver your Kela card or identification – you will pay a maximum of €25.
When you show the driver your Kela card or identification, you will receive the travel reimbursement immediately in the taxi and pay a maximum co-payment of €25 per trip. Request a certificate for travel reimbursement (SV67).

  • If you need a taxi due to your health condition, please request a doctor’s signed certificate from healthcare (Certificate for Travel Reimbursement, SV67).
  • Keep the certificate written for the one-time trip with you for 6 months from the travel date, as Kela may request it later.
  • Submit the certificate for long-term taxi use to Kela.
  • If a healthcare worker orders your return trip, you do not need the SV67 certificate.

You can order your Kela-subsidized taxi trip via text message after you have provided your customer information to your local booking dispatch center. Your first contact must be made by calling the dispatch center and providing your customer information. During the call, you need to provide the following details:

  • Your name
  • Your personal identification number
  • Your phone number
  • Your home address

During the call, you will receive additional information about how to use the text message ordering service.
You must provide your customer information to the new dispatch center even if you have used the text message service before.
After this, you can make travel bookings via text message. The text message service is free of charge.

Certain customer groups have the opportunity to obtain a regular taxi service. For more information about regular taxi service, please call Kela’s service number at 020 692 204.
To arrange regular taxi transportation, please contact the Kela taxi number.
If you are entitled to use a regular taxi, you can choose the most suitable regular taxi service provider from the list of drivers below.
Contact the driver by phone or email to inquire about their ability to serve your transportation needs.
You can select a driver from the list based on your residence or the healthcare facility you most frequently use.
The list will be updated as new regular taxi drivers are added. When a driver’s capacity is full, their details will be removed from these pages, and they will focus on serving existing customers.
Trained regular taxi drivers operating in the region serve the entire county. Healthcare facilities, such as therapy centers, should guide their clients to choose the same driver to ensure smooth cooperation for all parties involved.

If you want to take your Kela-subsidized taxi trips with a familiar and trusted Kumpulainen driver, follow these steps:

  1. Call us to schedule your trip with the driver. The driver will give you a 4-digit vehicle code.
  2. Next, call the free Kela Taxi number for the Itä-Suomi/Joensuu area at +358 800 102 000. Tell the Kela Taxi dispatcher your booking details and provide them with the taxi company name and the vehicle code for the driver you want to handle your trip. The dispatcher will then send the booking to our driver.
  3. When the time comes for your transport, we will pick you up, and you can enjoy your Kela taxi trip with the familiar and reliable service of Taksipalvelu Kumpulainen.

As a contracted provider, we handle transportation services for the Pohjois-Savo Wellbeing Services County in accordance with the agreement, including:

  • VPL transports (Services for the Disabled Act)
  • SHL transports (Social Welfare Act)
  • Day activity transports
  • Facility transfers

The Sansia Travel Coordination Center is open on weekdays from Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
At other times, the Central Finland Travel Coordination Center Oy is on duty.
Trip orders can be made by calling +358 17 183 183 or by sending an email to kuljetukset@sansia.fi. During duty hours, you can also reach kuljetukset@jytaksi.fi.

Phone orders must be made at least 1.5 hours before the departure time. The best time to call is between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. The call will cost the same as a local call. In the evenings and on weekends, calls will be answered by a duty officer from Central Finland Travel Coordination Center Oy.

Email orders must be received by 2:00 PM on the business day before the departure day: For example, if the travel need is on Monday, the order must be in our email by Friday at 2:00 PM at the latest. The order should include the following information:

  • Who is traveling
  • Where they are departing from
  • Their destination
  • When (date and desired time)
  • Special needs for the trip (e.g., need for a disabled taxi, assistive devices)

Please note that do not include any health-related information in email orders.
Once the order has been processed, a confirmation message will be sent to the requester.

Our taxis are equipped with a jump starter device. If your car won’t start, just give us a call.

If the jump starter cannot get your car running, you can continue your journey in one of our warm, ready-to-go taxis, ensuring you can get moving with 100% certainty.

This service is available only in the city area (between Jordania and Peltosalmi) while our vehicles are in operation.

The jumpstart service costs €35 (including VAT 24%) and includes the drive to your location as well as the jumpstart.

If the car does not start and the customer gets in the taxi, we will use our standard taxi fare pricing.

We use NOCO GB-40 and GB-70 jump starters.
